Trust

If team members or two teams that need to work together have not yet developed trust, there are some steps you can take.

Trust must be actively built and earned. Here are actionable steps team leaders and team members can take to increase trust within their teams.

Good leaders aren't afraid to listen to their teams, looking for signs of an erosion of trust in their leadership and in them as people. They aren't afraid of asking for help and working with a coach to build their leadership skills.

High-trust teams outperform those lower in trust. Virtual teams can struggle with trusting each other, but trust can be built.
