QUICK START GUIDE: (Follows horizontal menus in your EPIC Account)

A. TO ISSUE ACCESS CODES:
Manage Reports>Create a New Report/Issue Access Code>Select Report from drop down list>Next>Click Assign Access Codes>Next>Type in email address>Quantity 1>Choose View Report "Yes"=Respondent can see Report; "No" Respondent can not see Report>Enter Respondent name>Next>xxx credits will be deducted>Yes>Select Yes to write an extra message to email access code or Select Cancel to bypass personalized email.
ACCESS CODES for DISC PPSS Basic General Characteristics AND Supplements:
Manage Reports>Create a New Report/Issue Access Code>Select Report from drop down list>Next>Click Assign Access Codes>Next>Page options to customize report so easy way is: Check 'Include All', Check Line Chart (save printer ink and toner), Select Supplemental Reports... NOTE: most commonly used are those that are shaded of the 6 options>Next>Type in email address>Quantity 1>Choose View Report "Yes"=Respondent can see Report; "No" Respondent can not see Report>Enter Respondent name>Next>xxx credits will be deducted>Yes>Select Yes to write an extra message to email access code or Select Cancel to bypass personalized email.

B. TO VIEW A REPORT THAT IS COMPLETED:
Manage Reports>View/Print/Email Completed Report>Search opens (fastest search is by Respondent's last name)>Search>Select Respondent>Next and then follow screens to either View, Print, or Email the report.

C. TO EDIT RESPONDENT (ex: change email address or to correct spelling of name)
Manage Reports>Edit Reports>Search opens (fastest search is by Respondent's last name)>Search>Select Respondent>Next>Make changes>Next... At this point EPIC automatically resends out the access code email

D. TO RESEND ACCESS CODE EMAIL TO SOMEONE:
Manage Reports>Resend Login>Search opens (fastest search is by Respondent's last name OR change status from 'Both' to 'Pending' and you can do a whole group) >Search>Select Respondent>Next>... At this point EPIC automatically resends out the access code email

E. TO PUT CREDITS BACK INTO YOUR ACCOUNT FOR SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT RESPOND OR TO TAKE BACK AN ACCESS CODE:
Manage Your Account>Search opens (fastest search is by Respondent's last name)>Search>Select Respondent>Next>... At this point EPIC sends them an email unassigning the code and puts the credits back into your account.

F.  TO CREATE GROUP REPORTS:
(Note: You must have 3 minimum to create most Group Reports)
Manage Reports>Create a New Report/Issue Access Code>Select Report from drop down list>Next>Report Setup: Find group in Folders and Name the Group Report>Click ADD Participant>Search opens (fastest search is by Respondent's last name or by Folder for group)>Search>List Opens and Click Box on Right to Add Person to the Group> Continue adding, removing until you have the correct persons in the group>Make sure you check the "View Online - yes or no" buttons. Yes means email goes to Participant with link to access the report.  No means only Administrator and Email inserted gets access to Group Team Report.>Continue until report generates

H. TO EDIT YOUR ACCOUNT and Personalization Options: 
(Ex: Change password, change your email, change company name, add company logo, etc)  NOTE: Do Not Leave the Administrator Name field blank! The Administrator Name is used in the Subject Line of all your access code emails that are sent out.  Best to use your company name, not your personal name. You may be the Administrator but Respondents recognize your company name in emails.
Personal Options>View/Edit Account Information or Personal Options>Change Password

EPIC (Electronic Profile Information Center) is a web-based application built on a Windows 2000 platform. It utilizes Windows IIS for delivery of the application, Visual Basic as the development language, and SQL 2000 for data storage and retrieval.

Here are some Definition of Terms that will help you:

• Customer Service - Creates and oversees Administrator accounts and provides Credits for report generation....  That's us here at DISC Profiles (email for help) and replenish credits with quick online secure ordering.

• Administrator - Manages access to the profiles, issues access codes, and views and prints and emails profiles... That's YOU.

• Respondent - One who has been issued an access code and goes online from any internet accessible computer and completes any profile questions.  You decide if they have access to view/print their reports.

• Credits - Credits are the currency used in the EPIC system.  Each report in the system is assigned a credit value.  Credits can be used for ANY EPIC report.  Credits are deducted from the "Bank" of Credits in your Account when access codes are assigned.  Once the Respondent's report is in your account, no further credits are charged even for multiple retrievals, printings, emails, or viewings.  See EPIC Account Set up for the credit values assigned for current reports available through EPIC.

System Requirements:
EPIC requires the following minimum system requirements for proper operation and performance:

• Windows 95 and higher for the PC
• Mac OS 9 or higher for the Apple Computer
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher or Netscape Navigator 4.0 or higher. FIREFOX is not supported.
• Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.05 or higher (Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 preferred)
• Cookies need to be enabled on the computer
  (Note: The cookies used by EPIC are not permanent - they expire after 24 hours)
• Java script needs to be enabled on the computer
• Internet connection
• 800 x 600 monitor resolution with 16 bit or greater video card (24 bit screen display recommended)

Profile Assessments Available on EPIC:  All EPIC reports are enhanced versions of the paper profiles and will not be available in paper format.  The EPIC Edge means that there are distinct advantages to EPIC profiles:  More interpretation, less learning for scoring and interpreting, saves valuable time, content more comprehensive than paper versions.
