EPIC QUICK START GUIDE:
(Follows horizontal menus and dropdowns in your EPIC
Account)
CREDITS:
Your account operates with a system of currency called
"Credits". When you need additional credits for
additional reports transferred into your account,
order them online at:
http://www.onlinedisc.com/order.htm#CREDITS . We
manually transfer credits during business hours 9-3
(Pacific Time), Mon-Fri, within an hour of your order
and best efforts any other time. Credit transfers are
not automatic upon order completion. They are moved by
a "human person". You
must provide your User ID in the
comments section of the shopping cart when ordering
credits to assure they are moved into your account.

Remember.
DISC Classic Profiles and Everything DISC Profile do
NOT mix and match. Each product family has related
trainer kits, PowerPoints, language, group reports,
comparison reports and these features are not
interchangeable. Treat them as completely different
DISC profile test assessments; they are completely
different.

SEARCH TIPS:
All other functions below in your EPIC account have a
“Search” feature.
o
The
easiest and fastest search is to search by respondent’s
first or last name, leaving ALL other fields blank
o
Searching by a single date, or by a single folder (for
group reports), leaving all other fields in search
blank, is also fast and efficient.
·
Edit
Existing Reports.
Allows you to change emails, correct errors, change
folders for respondent, generate new reports when
possible using the respondent’s original answers. All
possible changes in fields are available. If a feature
is “grayed out”, that edit is not possible for that
person.
·
View/Print/Email Completed Report.
Fast Search for a respondent by first or last name.
Respondents are permanently archived in your EPIC
account (unless the account is abandoned by you.)
·
Resend login Information.
At no charge, you may Search for person by first or last
name, and resend login email to respondent. If email
address needs changed, use the “Edit” menu first.
“Pending” means respondent has not responded to
assessment online. “Completed” means respondent
has completed online responding. Only Completed reports
are available for “View/Print/Email” as above.
·
“Delete Reports” and “Download Import Template” are for
advanced users and are RARELY used.
B.
MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNT Dropdown Menu:
·
Transfer Credits to Parent Account. Do NOT use this
feature.
You
will be giving us back all your credits and you will be
left “penniless” and ‘credit-less.”
·
Account Activity Reports.
Allows you to generate reports of the history of your
EPIC use.
·
Unassign access code/Reclaim Credits.
Allows you to void an unused access code and retrieve
the credits. Used most often when someone fails to
respond online.
·
Folder Maintenance.
Folders are an important feature for clustering people
into groups, departments. Especially useful for group
reports function. Folder is assigned right before email
address is typed in, immediately before sending an email
access code.
·
Credits Charged for Reports.
Table of credits charged for EPIC assessments. Helps
when you are calculating credits needed for projects.
C.
PERSONAL OPTIONS dropdown menu:
·
View/Edit Account information.
Allows you to change company name, email, logo when
account administrators change, etc. For “Administrator
Name” and “Email from Name”, it is recommended that you
leave it set the same as the “Company Name” because most
respondents do not know the name of the person sending
the access code. It will help most email access codes
from going into junk e-mail boxes.
·
Manage Custom Messages.
Feature that allows you to create and/or edit emails
that you want sent along with the email access codes
each time you send a code. Prevents repetitive typing.
Unlimited number of messages may be created and used.
·
Manage Report Tailoring.
Some assessments allow you to delete some pages, etc.
Use this feature with great caution. Changes you make
may not be those you want permanently for all reports
and respondents.
·
Create Sample Reports.
Allow you to create, free, a sample of any assessment
available in your EPIC account. Helpful for reviewing
features.
Helpful Hints for creating Group and Comparison Reports:
·
Use
Folders.
Using Folders when you are issuing email access codes
will help you create group reports for the people in
that folder when they have all completed online
responding.
·
Select Correct Group Report.
DISC Classic and the Everything DISC Applications
product families have different kinds of reports
available. See the Home Page of your EPIC account
for information about the reports available.
·
Steps:
Select Report>Next>Report
Setup: Find group in Folders and Name the Group
Report>Click ADD Participant>Search opens (fastest
search is by Respondent's last name or by Folder for
group)>Search>List Opens and Click Box on Right to Add
Person to the Group> Continue adding, removing until you
have the correct persons in the group>Make sure you
check the "View Online - yes or no" buttons. “Yes” means
email goes to Participant with link to access the
report. “No” means only Administrator and Email
inserted gets access to Group Report.>Continue until
