DISC Classic - DISC Classic 2 Plus - DISC Team Reports: Paper & Online Versions

The DiSC ® Classic Profile in paper booklet self administered format and in instant results online DISC formats.  DISC provides a nonjudgmental language for exploring behavioral issues. It describes behavior across four primary dimensions: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness.  Behavior is an expression of one's personality described in the personal style inventory profile.  Many call DISC Profiles by terms like:  "Personality Test", "Personality Tests",  or "DiSC Tests" or  "The disc Test" or D.I.S.C.  DISC "blue book", DISC Online, Online DISC, Personal Profile System, DISK test, DISK profiling, etc.  The proper acronym is DISC. The profile is a behavior assessment to improve work and personal effectiveness. 

The Online DiSC Profile Classic 2.0 Test DISC Classic 2 and 2 plus versions. is the original Personal Profile System ® PPS which later became the Personal Profile System 2800 Series PPSS in both online and paper versions.  Online versions include DiSC Classic 2.0 and DiSC Classic 2.0 Plus, the online DISC personal profile system personality tests developed based on the original William Moulton Marston DISC theory model.  The DiSC Classic 2.0 Plus online DISC personality profile test assessment includes supplements for Managing, Selling, and Relating behavior styles and traits using the DISC language. The DiSC Classic profiles, supported by the Everything DiSC Classic Facilitation System, continue the traditional 36 year legacy of Performax Systems International through Carlson Learning Company to Inscape Publishing.  The online system of generating instant results, full interpretation of the DISC test profiles is through the web based EPIC system, enabling clients private label and customized online DISC access without software. New research includes the online Everything DiSC Management Profile and the Everything Disc Sales Profile for the WorkPlace.

DISC Certification 2 day classroom train the trainer program. Everything DISC facilitation system is course required text. Always delivered in Minneapolis by corporate training research development staff. Q: Is Certification needed to use DISC Profile tests? A: No, you do not need to be "certified", but you can be.  It is an option available for those developing longer training programs who are employed within training departments or organizations.  If you were trained before April, 2005, when the new research based Everything DISC came out, you are using training information that is at least 12 years, and more likely 25 years, out of date, and no longer accurate.  DISC has grown far beyond the "blue book" into a platform of wide applications, with a dozen paper based and 40+ EPIC DISC online profiles. The DISC Profile does not precisely determine job fit, job fitness, or success. DISC is not recommended for pre-employment hiring screening because it does not measure a specific skill, aptitude, or factor specific to the position.
